Orchid Flasks

Hi All

Does any one know what containers are suitable to use for flasking?

And where to buy suitable containers from in Australia at a reasonable price?

Rod

No, they are being picked up tomorrow (Thursday 11th Oct at 11.30am) and I will be getting a mobile call when they are in her hot hands just to confirm all are present and accounted for.

I am very excited for you, Anton ,even though I have no clue on the orchids you are getting ( still dumb and no end in sight ) and am 15,000km away!

I hope the 'deflasking' will be a success. I still plan to try flasks even though I failed miserably last time!

Good luck.

I got the first call when she was in the cab on the way there, and another on the way back to the hotel. Marg also took my handycam and videoed the gardens for me too.

She said there's a lot of plants in each flask.

I have been flat out editing operation videos for my Medical Director to take to a conference next week, that's why I haven't been on.

In fact I am STILL here at work at 5.40 pm, been here since 8.30am and totally brain dead.

Waiting for the DVD editing program to finish it's job before I can go.

Price of being popular and a Jack of All Trades. Ho hum........

Paycheck doesn't change. (

One of the problems working for the Government, I will have to take it as time owed. Would prefer more money though.

Got a text message last night, they were tucked up in the bathroom in the cool and she couldn't get over how many plants they had put in each flask.

Also they gave me a discount for the quantity I had ordered.

Marg gets back Saturday afternoon and I'll probably get them Sunday after she has caught up on some sleep.

Already celebrated last night with a wee dram of 18 yo Craggenmore Single Malt.

I hope so............ unless it's Groundhog Day.

Did a final worm wee spray of their new beds today so there shouldn't be any nasties in the mix now.

Been keeping the seedling cultivators moist with a spray of worm wee about every 3 days, as the GH has been heating up through the day over the past week and the moisture was evaporating out of the cultivators at an incredible amount, but now have it under control.

I will post images of the "Official Handing Over Ceremony" after I arrive home with them and they are tucked up in their beds.
