orchid pollination project #2 (Phal deliciosa)

Hi everyone,
This is Phal deliciosa - tag says Kingidum deliciosum. I picked this one up at my first show I went to from Napa Valley Orchids. It had 1 bloom and 2 buds but a ding a ling on the way home cut me off causing me to slam the breaks and one bud was lost when the box and plants slid in the seat

so pic shows 1 bloom and 1 bud. I pollinated both but the bud in the pic didn't take when it finally opened. These blooms are very small I had to use a magnifying glass to do it. The first bloom took and I have one pod

There are several pics and I can only do one at a time so hang tight

The next 2 pics are more current of the pod. Notice how much more the petals of the bloom shriveled up and dried.

And the last one for now until this start changing. This was pollinated mid sept 2011

Nice, great job.
I have been wanting one of these for a while. I'll get one when I'm done with all this Christmas shopping craziness.
