If you are going to deflask at this time of year, you'll need to keep them out of the heat until they get established.

Hi, I have posted quiet a few de-flasking projects on this site. Quiet a simple and very easy process if a few rules are followed. 100% success is what you should be aiming at and the 1st flask is were you start to learn, so make it correct and fun and enjoyable process. Mini Catts with some TLC shold start to flower in about 18 months to 2 years so not a long wait until they flower! Best of luck

I think it would be good to note that with every deflask you will generally lose a number of plants for various reasons. Don't feel bad if you do lose some, especially your first time. It's a learning experience.

ok.... so....I received my flask!!!!!! But i'm curious.. It looks like the plants have been removed from the original flask and placed into this container. What do you think? I do think that i need to pot them up within the next couple of days!!! pretty excited! I'll take some pics of the process I follow. |

They look in decent enough condition not to warrant potting up immediately however there's not a lot of medium in there so I wouldn't wait months to do it.

Hi they look like they are still in the original flask, rather nice size and as noted not much agar left to keep them fed. best to take out asap. Best of luck as the excitment build as they grow and get ready to flower!

Hi Rather a nice mixed size lot. If I may add a little bit, I would have sprinked a little amount of spag over the big ones roots, just a little to help them on their way. Otherwise, done well!

i have these guys in a seedling humidity box.... how long do i leave them in there? I usually leave them a few days and open the top up a bit more to allow the humidity to drop slowely and harden them off. Usually done over a week or so. do i just take the larger guys out and leave the smaller ones in the box Perhaps the idea of leaving the smaller ones in a bit longer would not be a bad idea. As you do not show were you are in Australia, bit difficult to say what to and were to put them. If grown inside in a warm spot they should start to show some new growth after about 3 weeks. After that you could perhaps start to feed the with a week seaweed type fertiliser for a few months before going onto anything stronger. I always tread my babys with TLC
