Damping Off - Is it to late?

Ok so I've removed paphs from flasks and I have one flask that appears to have a problem with the leaves going brown from being damp.

Some of the leaves have it deep in the crown and not on the leaves but the leaves underneath the top leaves are ok. I know this still isn't good.

Some have the brown on the tips and I have cut these off.

Some have one leaf brown and one leaf ok.

I have sprayed the fungicide on the leaves and am prepared to do that again. What can I do to save these? About half the plants are fine and I don't think this will be a problem for them now. But the other half......is it to late or would another treatment of spraying fungicide on the leaves be ok?

Do they have any chance? All the other flasks are doing really well with no losses but for some reason these plants seem more sensitive.

Thanks

P.S. Kevin these are not your plants, they are other ones I bought for myself. (Hears Kevin breath a sigh of relief).

If they were mine, I'd hit them with a bactericide/fungicide, crank up the air circulation, and cross my fingers. I have little desk fans blowing directly on my indoor seedlings 24/7 and a big oscillating fan blowing 24/7 in the shadehouse. I'd also try to keep them a little drier for a while.

I am glad to hear it's not one of our shared flasks but it's still disappointing regardless whether they're yours or mine. Which ones were they?

They are the hangianum.

Unfortuantely. But the ones that are ok look really strong.

I have noticed that Paph hangianum likes to be drier in general than my other paphs. I have two, both small seedlings. About 3 years ago i very nearly lost both to rot because I watered them the same as my other paphs. One of them was down to one and a half leaves. Now I let them stay drier. I water them either about half as much as my other paphs (every other watering) or when I do water at each watering, I just give them a light watering. They're both growing this summer.

I've never deflasked hangianum so I don't know how this preference for being a bit drier translates to newly deflasked seedlings. I hope it goes well. Keep us posted?
