De-Flasked seedlings of my hybrid

I just received a delivery of some of my hybrid seedlings de-flasked & ready for compots/individual pots, from Troy Meyers. This hybrid is
(primulinum var. flavum x adductum) x [Makuli alba 'Cyrano' x (Makuli alba x Flame Arrow) 'Greenfire)]

Here are pics of 1 of 2 flasks that I have done so far. This flask only had 4 seedlings in it but the 1 seedling is Huge. I potted it in a 3" pot by itself.

This should be a very interesting novelty cross. I don't know of many cochlopetalum-Maudiae crosses and you just don't see that many, so this should be quite an exciting thing for the forum to follow the progress of this hybrid.

There's something that bothers me about one of the parent names: Paph primulinum var flavum. Paph primulinum is already normally yellow so the var flavum is redundant. I've never seen any reference to a primulinum var flavum. There is a primulinum var purpurescens.

If you register this cross when it flowers the RHS will probably ask you about that so it's probably best to sort it out so you can put it correctly on your hybrid registration form when you submit it. Also you have Makuli alba listed. Makuli is a hybrid and hybrids do not have varieties like var. alba. I understand that what you're referring to is a green and white Makuli but just so you know when/if you register it.

A bit more name info: Paph primulinum x Paph adductum has been registered and named. It is: Paph Memoria David Hanson.

Makuli x Flame Arrow has also been registered and named. It is Paph Hsinying Makurow.

Makuli x (Makuli x Flame Arrow) or in other words Makuli x Hsingying Makurow has also been registered and named. It is: Paph Seeboomook.

So your cross is actually Paph Memoria David Hanson x Paph Seeboomook.

Thank You!! I haven't had time to sort through the RHS to see if the hybrids were registered yet.

As for the primulinum, I was going by the way the tag read when I got the plant. Thanks for the info on it. I will have to correct my notes & tags.
Yes it should produce some interesting flowers. I'm not expecting any flowers for at least 5-7 years. I am hoping that with the primulinum & Makuli in the mix it brings the size down some more & makes it easier to flower.

That's neat. The two teeny tiny ones on the bottom are so small and then the giant. What a size difference!
