Seed pod is almost ready

I have a little dendrobium seed pod that will be ready in the next few weeks... I've been wanting to try my luck in sending this pod off to be flasked, and then deflask them myself.

I live in South Carolina, where would I send it too? And when the pod busts open, do I just go ahead and sprinkle the seeds into a coffee filter to send off?

If it is getting close to opening, you should hurry and fasten a coffee filter around it now so that when it does split the seeds will be caught. You would hate to be gone when it happens and end up with no seeds.

Try Rockbridge Labs in Ohio rockbridgelabs@yahoo.com

Since they are in Ohio you might want to ask Dawn at Rockbridge how they want you to ship any seed sent (may need to insulate & avoid really cold shipping days; possibly express/overnight shipping?)

You might also try calling Carter & Holmes over in Newberry & ask if they have a recommendation for a South Carolina flasking service.

Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion! I will bring a coffee filter home tomorrow from work and get it wrapped It's still bright green, but extremely plump!
