Miltoniopsis pollination

Well after reading some of your posts and watching videos this morning, I have tried my first shot at pollinating. The only orchid I have blooming right now is my miltoniopsis. It only has one spike right now with 3 blooms on it. So I tried to pollinate all 3. If it doesn't do anything with in the next couple of days... oh well at least it was practice. LOL So now its time to play the waiting game and I will keep you guys posted if anything happens. Oh and here are some pictures... Not sure if I did it right?

That was the right spot up under there now if it was the right window to do it. Time will tell. I've had many trials and errors a a few success now. Learned let them be open. A few days to a week and maybe you get lucky this doesn't apply to the one day only type blooms of course.
Keep us posted on its progress

So today I checked up on my milt and saw that the spot you pollinate closed up and the flowers are wilted on all 3 flowers. It has only been a week, so if it did take how long before I notice a pod starting?

If it was successful you will notice the stem the bloom is attached to will swell and fatten up. If it was unsuccesful it will stay thin yellow and fall of as a normal fading bloom does. But usually the flower dries like paper and usually stays connected
