Hi all.
This question is in my mind in few month.
I have been search on this forum and google, but I can find.
So, anybody know how can orchid live in flask without air circulation?
Every answer appreciated.

Hi Ivan!
Well, not sure if this will answer your question, but...there is air exchange in the flask.
Not sure if needed for all flasks, but this website kind of will give you a little information on what is done...

It depends whether by "no air circulation" you mean no replenishing of CO2 or simply stagnant air. The first Joyce has answered already, the second is simply possible because the conditions inside the flask are sterile ie. no nasty microbes. This means that the orchids leaves can stay wet permanently without rotting because there are no pathogens to cause rot. It is a different story once you open the flask. Leave seedlings in an open flask like that and they will go downhill quickly.

Thanks, Joyce. That link is very interesting. I'd wondered about some of those details myself when reading about others' adventures in flasking.
