44 and no contamination.. woohoo

1/2 green pod,1/2 dry pod..phal type Den. cross.. 3 weeks and have not lost even one to any contamination...did try something new with my glovebox..in the top right corner I have a chlorine tablet in water..i did 10 flasks at a time..put in mother and ready to go flaskes in and let sit for 1 hour before I started..basicly I fumed the box before I opened anything up..i even resealed the mother flasks to use for later..no contamination at all..so far..box I made and I seal it with tape, gloves are large animal exam gloves..thru arm holes are yogurt containers with the gloves attached..

Oh, that's cool! It looks like you are using Mason type jars for the flasks. How does that work - how do you seal them?

Good luck!

I make a small vent hole in the middle..cover with small round bandaid, sterilize as normal..after flasking I screw on lid, seal edge with masking tape and cap with tin foil..not all mason jars bot use same process for all..

Can you tell me how you made the glove box. I would love to try making one. I have pod from my Phal that was pollinated on 6/2/2014 and its about ready to harvest. I am new to the forum so I am not sure if you have posted anywhere else about building the glove box.
Thanks Cntry

Can you tell me the width and height as well as depth of your box. Do you have enough room inside while your working within your box? Would you suggest to build it a bit bigger then what you have to give the box more working room inside?

Thanks for answering my questions.
