rescued vanda // 2nd attempt
Just recued a vanda in a hanging basket from my local Lowes. Sales person said that it has been there since this past Nov. Only two leaves left, one of which is yellow and ready to drop. But the majority of the roots are still green. Soaked it today and will continue to soak and mist every day in order to revive it. Placed some bark and moss in to retain moisture for the roots. My issues -- can the vanda survive w/o any leaves though the roots are still green? and should I remove from the basket (some roots are exposed) and use a container for more "humid" conditions for the roots. This is my second attempt at vandas.
