sticky spots on my den

so my baby den. yellow song 'canary' that is spiking right now had a couple of tiny sticky drops on it this morning. i know this is some sort of a sucking insect, aphids maybe? i think thats what i read. anyways, will worm tea be sufficient to kill these buggers? i doused my plant it worm tea after i found them, and then left it out of the sun to let the microbes work. any other things i need to do?

Worm Tea

I don't know Lissie but my Love Knot looked like it had fast
movng ants last night. In Florida they are the
White Ants I think. Well something like that.
I dumped the pot and there were lots moving like crazy
Sprayed the pot with Worm Tea, Essentials, And Companion mixture.
Did not see one this morning. That stuff is amazing.

Right now, do nothing. Merely observe. You may not have a problem. Some orchids occasionally produce drops of a sticky substance which, for lack of a better term, I'll call sap. That may be all it is. If not, if you do have a problem, wait to see if the worm tea resolved it. If it didn't, pick up some Bayer Rose and Flower Insect Killer and spray it. End of problem.

I too agree that there shouldn't be a problem. I have lots of Dens and three of them are just oozing tons of sap. One has been doing so for quite some time to the point that I thought it might have been sick.

It's sick with happiness.

I'll have to take a pic of my one Den and show you what it looks like. This plant looks like it's crying. Some of the leaves have sap trails from it oozing. I've never seen an orchid ooze this much, and it's been doing it for months.
