Angry Help! Our orchid isn't looking too well!

A few weeks ago my sister had an orchid delivered to our home, which had been ordered through the internet by our sister who lives abroad.

When the orchid first arrived it was in bloom with several flowers on it but now, alas, it is bald! All the flowers dropped off. The leaves still look lovely and healthy and appear to be growing.

Any ideas please folks?

Doreen

Hello and welcome to the forum.

First of all, it could just be time for the flowers to fall off. With good care it could bloom again next year. This does depend on what type of orchid you have.

If you post a picture of it, or the name of it, the forum members will be able to help you a lot more. I hesitate to offer culture advise without knowing what type of orchid it is.

Hello and welcome to the forum
As jay has said it would be almost impossible to know what is wrong with the plant w/o the name and or a picture since there are many types and the care of each is different

Welcome to the forum. Your flowers could have fell off because of the change in culture. It happens to me all the time. It will bloom again next growth period depending on the orchid that you have. A pic would be the best help for us to help you.
