Dyna Gro Pro TeK--- anyone used it? ![]() Hi, everyone. Has anyone used Dyna Gro Pro Tek? And if so, do you have an opinion on whether it does what it's supposed to do-- toughen the cuticle so the plant can resist pests and diseases better? I'm thinking of trying it, and first I'd like to hear from anyone who has tried it. Any experience you've had with it will be appreciated

I used pro Tek along with other dyna-Gro fertilizers for a few years. I fertilized with Pro-Tek and without Pro-Tek and saw no difference. I have since switched to Home Grow fertilizer's. I have used Home Grow for two seasons and have seen more new growth with that then with the Dyna-Gro products. When I start fertilyzing in the spring I use the growth formula for a couple of months then use the balanced formula the rest of the time. Its the same routine I used with the Dyna-Gro.

Well, I decided to try it. Watered all the outdoor phals with it today. We'll see if it helps-- I have a lot of tiny new leaves out there showing a lot of stress from the heat and heavy rains we've had. If they toughen up, I think I will notice it. Thanks for the replies.

Remember it may take more than a few days to see its first affects...so be patient. I feel you when i comes to plant stress. Everytime I go out of town I get some sort of attack. Weak plants are susceptible fungus and disease.
