Den moniliforme Sekkou

Here is a picture of one of my moniliforme's. It is doing really well. It's got a flower and is putting out new growth.

It is hard to see in the picture but the leaves have little yellow striping on them.

The flower has a really sweet smell.

April, could you rephotograph it and use the "+/-" setting on your camera to drop the exposure back a bit so it doesn't washout the image. This is a good tip for other users as well.

You will find this will bring detail back into the white flower.

April, seems like all your plants are doing well. Good for you. I'm interested in these small Dens. now. Maybe I can pick one up in Japan Town if I ever get there again.

How pretty! The detail shows up a lot better with a slower exposure! It's a little beauty!

April, that den looks very happy! About how big is it? Also, here is a picture of my Raizan when it was in bloom for comparison.

Therese

Mine is about 6 inches tall. Your flower is more pink than mine. Does the flower have a sweet smell?
Mine is very sweet smelling. I also think your leaves are a little darker green than mine.

Yours looks great!

The Raizan is supposed to be much darker actually; I hope next year goes better. The smell is very sweet too. Overall the plant is about 3" tall...very tiny! I actually got it from Dr. Lehr, and he's got a picture of a much larger plant. The flowers are amazing on the one he's got displayed.
