My Blc. Crowfield finally blooms.

It is a Blc. Crowfield 'Mendenhall'. I bought it earlier this year and I finally gotit to bloom for the first time. It is not scented but the flowers are beautiful with its shades of reds/light greens and yellows. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

Thanks Sassismom...I am excited as well. I actually had this plant is bark and decided to do a semi hydro thing to it. It isn't like the usual semi you see around here. I kept it in its clay pot, replace the bark with pellets and just placed a plastic saucer on the bottom. It dries out faster than having the water inside the container like typical semi hydro, but maintains moisture longer than a clay pot alone. I grow my plants outdoors.

Good growing Wonderful color combination--even a tinge of red/pink in the petals. That is one I wouldn't mind having, either. Congratulations

Thank you all for the complements. I remember just seeing the picture hanging above from all clones and saying to myself, "I can't wait". The buyer I bought it from is local ...they don't have that much variety but what they do have they have in great condition.
