Question Phaius wallichii

I have been growing Phaius wallichii and P. tankervilleae for years. Does anyone else have P. wallichii?

I have one of each, side by side. Sunlight, water, fertilizer, media--everything is identical.

Phaius tankervilliae never fails to flower profusely, every year. Phaius wallichii never flowers. Both are vigorous plants.

I have cared for the current pair about 5/6 years. I had a previous pair many years ago--same results.

Anyone with experience with BOTH SPECIES? Sage advice? Obviously, I'm missing something. I don't have a clue.

If you have pests, you might need to call an Orkin pest exterminator to help keep your flowers pest free.
