Must See

new opinion on styroafoam packing peanuts and stuff you didn't know about the right chemical composition of the nitrogen in fertilizer.

The video link was not working for some reason, but if you search for Professor Klitzing, There will be a video titled "professor steve klitzing talks about orchids" or something along those lines. Also, I think Mayres found a way to put it into your browser..

Very entertaining and informative but I don't agree with the theory on the use or non-use of peanuts though.

I second made4's comment. I clicked on the video before reading his post. It seems strange that missann must have seen it before opening the thread, then it was taken off the tube.

It is still out there - I'm trying to figure out how to post the link so it comes up in a way you can use it without the YouTube pic and other information. Okay try this (3rd attempt!) Whew! Put the two lines together in your browser!

Some of what he says is good, but I disagree 100% about the styrofoam peanuts - surprises me he would be so incorrect on this - it actually HELPS the plant from becoming too waterlogged and provides good air space/circulation - just the opposite as what he says.

missann, the den in you have as your avatar is a phal-type dendrobium. It won't be possible to ID which specific hybrid it is.
