more ? on spagnum

So I have a little live sphag leftover from repotting, anyone know how to try and propagate the stuff?

sphag is always dead. The only live moss regularily available is Spanish moss which will kil orchids.

Well, it looks live and the carnivorous plant folkss use it live, and they grow it and advertise as such.
