| It's hard to describe, I would say it's a 'sweet' scent. You can smell it from about ten feet away, maybe more. At first I could smell the scent even when I wasn't near the plant. I have since gotten used to the fragrance. When I was in the store, the whole area was filled with the scent. I had to smell each orchid to identify which one the scent was coming from. That's how I wound up buying it. There was a beautiful yellow-flowered Oncidium that I passed up. |

| I have a question... now that the bloom's finished, I want to re-pot. It has a fine root system and it seems to be potted in a fine grade volcanic rock. I'd like to use the same medium that it's accustomed to, but I can't find that medium anywhere to purchase. I do have sphagnum moss, different grades of bark, coir and I just bought some aliflor, which I am tempted to try, but have never... Opinions, please ![]() |
