JoBeth Great growing, could be a spike, looks like it to me. Wow what a size difference. They both look great! Do you have a fan on yours?

My Masdie's are directly in front of a little fan, it blows their leaves. I also have a large ceiling fan and when I only had that it wasn't enough for them. I was worried about the fan right in front of them, but they seem to like it and the Celtic Frost has new growth! You must be doing something right with the spike!

JoBeth, It looks great! I think it may be a spike, from the photos I've seen. It's a sweetheart, isn't it?

Jo Beth, by chance what is the mix that the guttulata is in, and how often do you water with that mix?

It will be a whitish color with little speckles. IOSPE PHOTOS Looks like this one is more of a warm growing one though. So the Tinkerbelles may be more of a challenge for me. My orchid room stays around 80 degrees during the day at least. I may get a small fan to blow directly towards the few that I have that like it a little bit cooler. But all of them seem to be doing well. Too soon to tell for the Tinkerbelles though. |
