Do Beallearas have a growth season?

I have a Peggy Ruth Carpenter. It just bloomed off a bud that was there when I bought it, otherwise it doesnt seem to be doing much. (Also, one off the blooms didnt seem to open the whole way. It is still partially closed and has been so for about a week. The other was smaller than i expected, how big are Bllra. blooms typically?) When can I expect to see new growth?

Yes they do have a growing phase, typically it's spring/summer.
