Phal Update & question

Just a quick thank you to all who answered my questions re: growing phals inside. They are all doing well! No wimpy floppy leaves, and an older phal I had that I thought was done for got some special treatment after all of the great advice, and guess what? He's growing a new leaf! Yesssssss.

Question: Can you cut a flower-less spike to try to trigger a new spike if the phal has other spikes that are still flowering? Thanks

Wait until others fill you in...others that I have done it. There can be a possibility that a new spike can be triggered. I believe you must cut a length of at least three nodes (lines where a spike could come out) from the bottom up.

Don't take my word for it as of yet...I have never done this.
