Den. aggregatum getting mushy.

I was looking at my newly acquired Den. agrregatum. I've had it for over a month and noticed several of the bulbs were getting yellow and mushy. I removed the soft ones and put them in a couple of baskets with bark mix lined with spagh after a good soak in physen 20.

I figured maybe I was over watering them in the clay pot they were in.

Do you think it is a good idea to put them in baskets? I hope it will recover and not die. Should I do anything else?

Here are the pics.

I have some Dendrobiums, I have been growing for a couple of years, let them dry out well, and be careful not to over water them again, keep an eye on them for more mushy spots. Good luck! Aggregatum is a pretty little spieces.

Thank you Evagentry. Being a beginner it's hard to keep myself from watering too much. I keep thinking they are dry. The skewer method works well but they get moldy pretty fast. Anyhow, I'm hoping for a speedy recovery.
