| Very pretty!!! I have a cochleata Green Hornet on it's way! It should be here when I get home from work! I love being at the beach and flying awesome kites... This bloom reminds me of a seashell kite of some kind.- (No, I'm not on drugs! )

| I have one too hera and am enjoying it sooooooo much. Just bought mine in April and it's put out 2 spikes filled with flowers and still loaded with top buds. It's growing 6 more psbulbs also. I've been wanting this orchid for over a year and it was worth the wait. I still can't remember why I waited so long though. Enjoy and thanks for posting yours! |

| I got it from Oak Hill. The same place that Sandra got hers. I can't wait!

| Not cochleata Green Hornet patticake, the name cochleata is the species name in Prostechea cohcleata. the genus for the hybrid Green hornet is also Prosthechea, so Prostechea Green Hornet.

It's not unusal for it to take a couple of months from the time the sheath forms until the onslaught of buds come marching forward. I believe mine was in sheath for 2 and 1/2 mos. before I saw the little buggers inside. |
