Should I cut them?

So I got an Orchid awhile back that already had 3 buds bloomed....those all dropped and where they were looks a little dry. Now I have another bloom I believe but it is further down the stem. Should I trim the top where the other buds were that dropped or will they grow back??

What kind of orchid is it by chance and do you have a picture of the plant?

I'm going to take a guess on this one - which often (in my case) is incorrect. If this is a phalaenopsis you are speaking of and if the new buds are on a subspike which grew out of a node along the original spike, then yes, you can cut off the upper portion of the original spike above the subspike.
