Bllra. Peggy Ruth Carpenter 'Morning Joy' wont bloom!

I have a Bllra. Peggy Ruth Carpenter 'Morning Joy' which has had a bud sp ike for quite a while now. The buds seem to look healthy, but they dont seem like they are growing! They have looked the same for weeks! Is there something wrong or are they usually just slow to mature?

Some times they just halt. Or just creep along forever. They then will all of a sudden have the buds start to plump up and, boom! There you are. be patient. What kind of light is it getting?

I have it in a south window, it gets pretty bright light.

I have a Brlla Patricia McCully and although, not the same, similar. Last year, the buds on mine took forever to bloom. Patience...a hard thing to sometimes overcome but that's all it will take.
