Yellow leaf?

We got this beautiful new orchid and the next day the leaf started to look multi-coloured. Black, brown, orange and yellow.

We already know that the plant is extremely root bound and awaiting repotting after the bloom. Could leaves be going like that because of being root bound or something else? There are a couple of black spots on other leaves but nothing as major as this. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

That looks like the fungal infection that my one Dendrobium had when I got it. Do you have any Physan20?

No I can try and find some tomorrow though, anything else that you know of will kill the infection in case I can't find that one? we have a product called organicide and some peroxide we've been using on some other sick orchids

I have used organocide successfully with an orchid, so you could try that.

Spray the entire plant and the top of the mix, roots and all. I agree with psyc1210, that looks fungal. Organicide is great stuff, a little pricey but worth it!

I used the organocide I think it was about twice a week for two weeks, and after that my Dend stopped with the yellowing leaves covered in black spots and pits. Good luck

Thanks a lot for your help, the orchid has stopped the yellowing leaves and black spotting.
It's looking much better now.
