Mounting Brassias

I have a small Brassia brachiata plant and considering mounting it on cork.

Has anyone else mounted one of these ?

If so, how big a piece of cork would I need for future growth, I haven't seen one of these plants fully grown, so need some help in this department.

Size of cork is not an issue, as I have 3 slabs two and a half feet long by around 18" wide so have plenty to play with.

I have 3 seedlings that are mounted for about 2 month and are doing well. I would mount for the curent size and attache the saller mount to a larger one when needed.

I divided my big Brassia Rex and made a mount on grape wood. I took it to work and its doing good. Its finally got new root growth. If yours is anything like my Rex, you'll need a big slab of cork in the near future.

They are quite big.I find them too big for mounting. I like small and cute on wood. Then
again, you can find Grammatophyllum speciosum growing on trees naturally.

How big would my Brassia brachiata grow ? Any ideas ?

I have never seen one, I won this one at a club raffle recently.

the bulb size would be 15cm not including the leaves. With the leave that would be
80cm. Of course , the result could varies depending on the cultural condition.
