Habenaria

Hello,

Just fell in love at first sight with this wonder called Habenaria myriotricha!

Does anybody have it? Do you know what it wants and what it hates?

Oh, forgot to mention, didn't I? Bought it, of course. Got the lindleyana as well -- couldn't help it

OK, now I need your advice. thank you in advance,

OnicheK.

Hi OnicheK,
I found this link that talks about the different species of Habenaria including myriotricha.
The blooms are stunning. Hope you can get it to flower.

Thank you, Tobi and Patti! So there are other sellers out there and other species too!

*jumping with joy*

I just ordered it last night, so I guess it will take some time to arrive. Plus, I'm negotiating with the seller for a neofinetia as well, so I told him to wait for the shipping.

It was rather tough ordering it as well, since everything was written in German, language that I do not speak...

Well, I'll keep you posted!

By the looks of the soil requirements that Tobi's referral site shows, it's very similar to that of the Pecteilis radiata aka Habenaria radiata or Egret flower. If you look at the thread The Most Beautiful Terrestial Orchid, you'll see some of the mix make ups that help these type of terrestials flourish.

The pot that it is in would be fine, but I probably wouldn't go no bigger than a 2 inch pot. I have both of my corms in one pot.
