Asconopsis Irene Dobkin

Hi everyone. I hope someone here can help. A number of people have commented that Asconopsis Irene Dobkin is "difficult to grow", or that it goes along find for a few years and then suddenly just dies off.

I'm thinking of getting one, and would like to get an idea of what the culture should be for this.

Has anyone grown this successfully, and if so, would you pass along any tips you have for it? I am growing and blooming phals of many different kinds successfully, so any comments about how care should deviate from standard phal care would also be helpful.

If you have pests, you might need to call an Orkin pest exterminator to help keep your flowers pest free.
