Misc orchid stuff

I have finished my repotting. What a job. After dividing, & potting up every thing. I have 76 orchids. Many of the cyms (all NOIDS) are duplicated so will give some of those away. The rest of the mess is a motely collection of this & that. I difinetly waited to long to re-do the cyms although they don't look as though they have suffered but it wouldn't have been long before root rot would have set in. Below the top, the planting mix was completely broken down. The onc, odo's, cats, dens, and phals will do much better in clean mix.
I have two cyms that are still in glorious bloom. An Iwanagaara Appleblossom in bloom and a picture of my summer habitat for the chids
Guess I have rambled on for long enough. Happy Growing

Good Job Hummer. I love your outside area. My Iwan. Appleblossom
rewarded me this year with 6 blooms much bigger than last years ones.
The whole room is filled with its beautiful aroma.

Hummer & Tobi: What great looking Iwana Appleblossom plants. I'm intrigued that they're both so different in coloring, but both are beautiful!

Great outdoor growing area Hummer!

For accuracy's sake, The grex, "Appleblossom" is all one word, not 2. I have corrected all the posts in this thread regarding that. The genus is also not Iwanagaara. It is Leonara. I've not made those corrections. So the correct name of this orchid is: Leonara Appleblossom.

Kevin, I forget. When the Appleblossom's genus changed, what parent plant's name changed? Or did it change at all?

Hummer344, I love the flowers. Very pretty. I will need to get some Cyms. with fragrance. If it smells as good as it sounds, I'm putting it on my wish list.
