dendrobium not flowering

Hi

I am Mani Nair from Mumbai, India. I bought a dendrobium during an exhibition last year. During the first year It bloomed, then new growth started. The vendor had told me that it flowers during March, April. It has lots of new roots formation, but all dried afterwards. I will send you a picture soon. In one of the cane all the leaves dropped last month. I would like to know why it is not flowering? Is it due to no rest period? I also like to know what is bloom booster? Yesterday I purchased a liquid fertilizer 8:8:8 Can I feed my dendrobium with the Liquid fertilizer? I have also vermiculture from which I get Worm tea. Which one is better Liquid fertilizer or worm tea? Please advise.

First what kind of Den do you have? YOu may not be watering it enough (dry roots) or it may not be getting enough light. Please post a pic when you can it will help more.

Mani, I agree we need to know what type of Dendrobium you have. Is it a Phalaenopsis
type or a nobile type. We can then make some suggestions to you. A pic would also help.
Thanks

IF the root has dried , something it has a slower the growth. It might be because of
insufficient sunlight.

Yes, the roots are looking dried, but light is sufficient as it is in a east facing window getting 4 hours light.
