Help!!where do i start??

Hi everyone!

I'm completely new to this experience of cultivating and growing orchids.Needless to say that i'm more than a little overwhelmed.
Is there anyone out there that can point me in in the direction a beginner needs to go in.
PLease help...quick lol.

Thanks very much

First if you have an orchid you might want to look up the culture sheets on that orchid. Second ask as many questions as possible you can never have too much info. Third be careful they are addictive. Fourth enjoy them!!! Oh by the way welcome on board!!!

yes, try these:

AOS | Orchid Basics

and remember, this is supposed to be fun. don't feel overwhelmed. ortho and miracle gro both put out basic books on orchids; you should be able to find them at any large home improvement store or nursery (if you're in the US). they're general, easy to read and have lots of lovely pictures.

where are you located and what are your growing conditions? (windowsill? greenhouse?)

Hello, and welcome to the forum. My best advice is read read read, ask a ton of questions and take lots of pictures! BTW do you have any pictures you can show us? I made up these little log sheets that I use to track waterings and stuff so I look back and see what I did in the past that was working or documenting new things i try. There is a whole ton of posts to read here with great wonderful advice. We have so many knowledeable people here that would be more than happy to answer questions!
