Supplement to Worm Tea?

I have been only using worm tea now to water and mist my orchids and was wondering if there are any good supplements to use with it? Any ideas/thoughts?

I've been supplementing with fertilizer on some of my orchids. Some I use fertilizer and some I don't. I just use the wormtea. Others use Epsom salt for the Magnesium.

I mainly just use the worm tea

I started using Bloom booster once a week. My orchids seemed to get use to the worm tea and weren't producing any blossoms. I still use it every other watering. It still keeps fungus, disease and pests somewhat under control. I just had to use Bayer Advanced 3 in 1 for an outbreak of scale. It seems something is always lurking out there to get them. Curses!!

I just bought my 1st bottle of worm tea. How offten do you suggest I use it? Being that I live in Florida, I usually water Throughly once a week and mist several times a week.

I mist everything that is not a phal with worm tea daily (a good misting--until it runs out the drainage holes). Then I usually water my phals with plain water one week and I use water and Superthrive the next week. If I understood Jerry correctly, it is both expensive and not really necessary to water more than once or twice with the worm tea. The microbes in the tea are living organisms that multiply in the media and the misting is sufficient to keep them going

My orchids seem to be very happy with this arrangement and are all producing branches on their spikes I only spritz the phals once a week or so...

It's the liquid run-off from a worm bed. Chock full of good micro-nutrients for your chidsThe worm tea I get is from Our Vital Earth and it is concentrated so you only mix 1/3 cup to a gallon of water.

If you want all the specifics, do a forum search on worm tea. Jerry Meola has written several posts about the benefits of this stuff and he explains it much better than I ever could. It seems to work wonders on my plants is all I know...

I'm ordering some too! Sounds like a miracle drug for orchids.
