I mist everything that is not a phal with worm tea daily (a good misting--until it runs out the drainage holes). Then I usually water my phals with plain water one week and I use water and Superthrive the next week. If I understood Jerry correctly, it is both expensive

and not really necessary to water more than once or twice with the worm tea. The microbes in the tea are living organisms that multiply in the media and the misting is sufficient to keep them going
My orchids seem to be very happy with this arrangement and are all producing branches on their spikes

I only spritz the phals once a week or so...
