Should I treat a Vandopsis as a Vanda or a Phal.

I wanted another Phal on my Log in a Pot project. Then I ran into a fragrant Vandopsis...can I mount it upside down and keep it as if it were a Phal?

Which Vandopsis? For gigantea, yes, treat like a Vanda. They are high light plants in spite of the yellowing of the leaves. Probably same for others, but not sure. You'll need to research the one you have. Gigantea gets to be a VERY large plant. Hope you are not mixing this one with a bunch of small plants on a smallish mount.
