Bulbophyllum Hi all. I'm considering buying a Bulbophyllum, either ambrosia or lasiochilum. Anyone out there growing these? Anybody here who can help me with deciding which one would better fit my growing conditions here in Fla.? I'm growing semi outdoors, on a screened patio with eastern light and a little west light in summers. Thanks!

Vivienne, thanks for the vote. I had a feeling it would be a good grower for my conditions from everything I keep reading. I think I'm going to buy both of them, what the hey! If you've got any pics of yours hanging around and wouldn't mind?....

| I like it too! Is the culture difficult? I live in Washington, any culture advise?

Likes it intermediate to warm, so no chills Part from that, likes to be kept moist, bit drier in winter, when it flowers. A mix of bark and spag does it well, bit of a rambler, so may want a mount of a basket of some sort.

I've got an idea.....let's do a Bulbophyllum growing project I'm going to order mine over the weekend. Have to find the best selection first. Any vendor recommendations, once again? Last edited by sandra; 04-17-2008 at 11:07 PM.
