Newly Repotted Orchid and not growing

I just repotted a phal orchid and I am not sure if I did it right. I dont see any changes. The only difference is that one of the leaves is more upright than it was before. I repotted it with bark only, and I am wondering if I should repot it again with a different media that holds water better?

Any suggestions would be great.

some orchids sulk a bit after repotting. if it has finished its bloom this time of year phals will show new roots and a new leaf from the center of the top. had it bloomed recently?

Phals do not grow especially fast. Especially during the fall and winter months.

Newly re-potted plants often look like nothing is happening since it is spending all its time growing new roots which you do not see.

Bark dries faster but usually can be compensated by more often watering. You do not want too large a bark because that leaves too much of those thick Phal roots not touching bark.

The fact that one of the leaves is more upright shows the leaf is getting good water movement through its roots to the leaf. You re-potting seems to have taken and there is no need to change.
