Norman's Orchids

Has anyone in the group had any problems with Norman's orchids recently. I ordered 6 orchids and when they arrived, I tested and found that 3 were virused. I wrote to complain and was informed that they do not guarantee their orchids to be free of virus. What kind of nonsense is this? Virus test kits are less than $5 per sample. Seems like it would be easy to test a lot of plants from overseas before they pass them along to the general public. They don't have to test every single plant.

I've bought plants form Norman's and they've all been great, healthy, plants, even won some show ribbons and a trophy with them.

I went to a Normans Open House a while back and was greatly disappointed. It was a bit of a drive for us in to LA and we only stayed about 30 minutes. They had one small aisle to walk down and that was it. The help was almost useless, that is if you could get someone's attention.

I would venture a guess that all growers the size of Normans would test out with the same results??? Their growing areas are huge and packed. Some of my favorite orchids I bought from Normans; they are great as long as you find them at a show or buy online.
