Help with Angraecum eburneum Well I might have gotten a little over my head. I picked up this plant a few weeks ago and it wasn't in very good shape but it was out of bloom and relatively cheap I have a couple of other Angraecum that are doing fine and feel that under normal circumstances this plant would be fine but this plant is just not in great shape. I'm tempted to try and instigate new roots by wrapping some sphag around the bare shaft where leaves used to be.

I have a Veitchii that I have had for less than a year that is mature and is in an area that gets medium indirect light. 3 seedling comorense that are on a window sill that is bright but with no direct sun light. They are all indoors and get morning misting and weekly waterings. The eburneum in question is in the brightest and warmest of areas, still no direct light.

From what I have read on this Angraecum, it enjoys a great deal of light. A grower I know gives his plant morning sun. He also fertilizes his plant quite heavily during the spring and the summer. Your plant will probably produce keikis soon, which will serve to help cover the bare stem. This is a very large plant but quite impressive when it blooms. I have a baby eburneum with three leaves. i'm really looking forward to it becoming the size of yours. Good luck with your plant.
