| I have used all three by price Wisconsin then Chile then New Zealand and by quality reverse the order. You get what your pay for. However the quality rating is not necessarily proportionaly to its effective value for growing plants. I like New Zealand beacuse the strands are very long and the package is very clean of stems and other material you would have to remove. Time is a cost factor for me and the long fibers are easier to use when I am mounting. All three will work equaly well in a pot. You will have to spend a little more time cleaning the sphag but this is not to serious in small quantities. Wisconsin moss is a very dark brown and in spite of its small size I have used it for mounting when I wanted the color for a display, and it is half the price. I have been finding more of the phals I buy are in the cheaper Wisconsin moss. The cost adds up on a 100,000 plants a year.
