| Mind if I brag? For those of you who know the struggles I've had with my Cattleyas, well....a picture's worth a thousand words. I took these pics in the pouring rain just 5 minutes ago. ![]() ![]() Last edited by sandra; 03-23-2008 at 04:48 PM. |

| Sandra- It's gorgeous! I love it. It's a lot like the one in my avatar. Going out in the pouring rain to take it! The rain adds sparkle to the bloom. Nice....

| Tobi, you've got to know that I was thinking of you when I was posting this. made4engineering, it's a 'something' alright but I haven't a clue, what! No tags. This was my first Cattleya I bought myself for my birthday, last year. FlaCo, I know! This weather has been great for them. I'd love to have a Vanda but as I learned the hard way with all my Catts., I wouldn't be able to provide the light intensity in my current arrangement but, someday I'll have Vandas up the ka-zoo! I have a fairly new reed stemmed Epidendrum and just in the last week, the roots seem to have grown another foot out of the pot and I think it's because of this crazy weather. Thanks everyone for your cheers! |
