kingianum x silcockii

I just brought home a kingianum x silcockii from the Pacific Orchid Show. My nose can't get enough of it.
Am I correct that I should let it go dry between waterings? How much humidity does it want?

A bit of clarification, silcockii refers to a white kingianum with a purple lip. The name refers to a kingianum colour pattern/group and not a distinct variety. It's essentially the kingianum equivalent of semi-alba.

Wilford Neptune has written a reasonably good article of growing kingianum Den kingianum. There have also been several posts on kingianum on this forum over the past few months so search the past threads.

I have a kingy and it probably needs repotting. I to bought mine at the SF show and its very crowded. Should I re-pot it? What type of potting mix should it be put in.

If you think it is absolutely necessary, I'd put it in the smallest pot which can accommodate the roots, so perhaps maybe just the next pot size up.

Very helpful, Andrew. Thank you. I liked the Neptune article and will search out the other Kingianum threads.
