Yup, Spring is coming. In fact, isn't today the first day, or is it tomorrow?
I never see ladybugs here in Fla. I miss them!

yup sping has sprung

But the grass hasn't rise yet... Still 5 feet of snow in places outside, but the creepy crawlys are out and about, I also heard someone saw a robin outside down by brockville ontario, spring started yesterday actually, so says my calender, and the weather is creeping towards the warmer range, I live up near Cornwall and Ottawa, Kitchener is that closer to Toronto?

Sam.

Sandra,
Spring has sprung. the sun crossed the equator on Wed evening. the first full day of spring was yesterday. Spring sprung around here a few weeks ago with the blossoming of the fruit trees. Now its shorts weather for me although the less hardy are still wearing long pants. LOL
David

Here's how spring came into Chicago. Picture from our Chicago Tribune newspaper. Boy, I'm sure glad it's Spring now! We are definitely not going to find those Easter eggs outside.

Spring in Colorado = track meets canceled due to snow. That's what happened yesterday. And it's still snowing!

Well for once we have not had more than a ft of snow, actually we haven't had snow for a couple of days now!!!(knock on wood, knock, knock)! We have actually seen that big bright beautiful ball of fire in the sky, I think it is called the "SUN", it has been awhile since we have seen it , so I have forgotten what it is called!!!!

Yesterday we went up to Cleveland to a family Easter celebration. They had about a foot of snow--it was horrendous! Then we came back to Columbus. There was no snow (and none in the forecast), my winter aconite is blooming, and there is a basket of pansies on the front steps that are waiting for me to stick them in the ground I have a new orchid from Hausermann's sitting in the kitchen There is a group of newly-arrived grackles in the feeder and Columbus might finally have made it through the winter. YIPPEE!! Happy SPRING,EVERYONE!!

What only?

You're calling a single foot of snow horrendous?!
We still have about 4' and in some places 5 to 6', plus our temps are still going down to -17c at night
But like most springs I'm sure when it hits it will all come at once, then we will have a lot of water..

Sam.

Sorry, Sam--your conditions do put Cleveland to shame I was just really unprepared for it (light jacket and no boots). We are dealing with a lot of flooding, now and our sump pump runs constantly. I'll take it as it comes, though, and I'm still in favor of a rampant SPRING!!!!
