Lockhartia lunifera about to bloom?

Is this how it looks before blooming? I have about five of them swollen like this. This would be the first time blooming for me

It looks like a bloom to me, what a pretty orchid.

Cool looking plant! Here is a link with the flowers. Looks like they are produced near the
apex of the stem.

I've been growing <I>Lockhartia lunifera</I> on/off for years. It usually grows leaves for me from Feb-August when it starts flowering through December. It flowers most intensively for me around Sep/Oct. I'm about 400 miles south of you in Maryland.

I enjoy this little plant. My only wish is that it would expand more quickly. It seems to LOVE 3" pots, never wanting (or liking) anything larger.
