this will be my 2nd time blooming my Guarianthe aurantiaca. I bought it 4-5 years ago in sheath but from shipping It didnt bloom. last year it bloomed for the first time with 5 blooms. This time around its only going to have 2 blooms. What could have happened that it didnt have the same number of blooms. Is this a normal occurance? Theres no sign of pests or disease and I dont mist. I soak the pot and let it drain. I keep in on a humidity tray. So what gives?

I keep it in a window with a southern exposure.

Window sills can be funny. I know that where I am, this winter has been not as bitter cold as some in the past, but very over-cast. The plants are affected by the quantity of sun, so maybe it's something to do with that. Just a guess. Do you fertilize?

Yes I use schultz orchid food twice a month.
