My trip to a local orchid grower!

A few days ago I went to my first orchid growers, when I first walked in the greenhouse, my mouth dropped to the floor. Im also pretty sure I drooled on most of the plants

. I didnt get any names with the pics though.

more, I had a blast going to the greenhouse. The guy there was so helpful and helped with any questions and even offered to repot my new orchid for me once it gets done blooming. Ill defiantly be back to this place to get more orchids!!!

Thats cool. I've been thinking of doing something the same thing for a shopping list for my birthday (even though its in august).

I don't know where I would have started or finished! I would have been bankrupt when I came away! Perhaps it's better that I live over 60 miles from my nearest orchid nursery!

Great pics!!! Thanks for sharing. Whenever I go to the 2 large orchid vendor's greenhouses,
I spend hours there. It's like a tropical Eden for me.

What did you buy, and was it hard to limit yourself, or did you have a fixed budget?

I bought a phal with 2 spikes, only got one to start out with but I know I will be back for more

Whoa...I usually don't see so many orchids in bloom at the same time, in one place like this. It would have taken me forever to move on to each row. Thank you for posting these pics. These and my coffee just woke me up!
