Oh, nice pictures. My golddigger has two sheaths and I just noticed that they both have swellings at their bases. Your picture reminds me of whats to come. One of my favorites.

Tobi, I see Cattleyas and feel cheated....

This one (and all of yours) is once again, breath-taking.

I transferred all of my Catts (about 14) except for a few small ones, to the palm tree on the front lawn, in the front of my house and so far, so good. So, I guess the better news is I have that much more space to fill up!!! where I have all my other orchids.

I always love seeing what you're growing. They're always sensational.

Thanks all. I originally had 3 inflorescences on the plant. One broke off before the buds
formed and the other (higher on the plant you can't see) had 5 buds, but 4 blasted on
me cuz I had them too close to the window exposed to the cold. Maybe next year I'll
have 4-5 inflorescences with 4-5 buds on each. It's reaching specimen size and I can't
wait.

Sandra - Best of luck with your new location for your Catts. I would like nothing better
than to have them thrive for you being such a Catt. lover.

Gold Digger is a fantastic cross and this clone is the best I've seen. I first saw this clone about 6 years ago at a show in Michigan. The clarity and clean seperationof the colours between the lip and the rest fo the flowers is really really eyecatching. It's a sweet plant and it looks like you're doing really well by it. Keep up the good work. I predict in another 2-3 years you'll be posting a pic of it with 5 times as many flowers!

Wow, Tobi! I love that orchid! Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try something other than a Phal.
