Thumbs up New to the game

I have been growing fuchsias for many years with a great deal of show success but with Orchids --- PHEW!!!!
I had one bought me some time back and lo and behold the flowers eventually dropped off and the stems have die back.
The temp has never been less that 20c inside the house and at the moment we are now coming into late winter in Wales or better still in the Northern Hemisphere.
What are the chances of it re-flowering again for me. I don't know what type it is but there were some beautiful flowers on two stems.
My question is "Will it ever flower again inside my home.

Hi Bostonian; welcome to the forum. It would be helpful if you could update your deails to show your actual location.

Could you post a picture of the plant in question. Based on what you've said, I'm guessing phaleanopsis, in which case you should remove the old flower spikes at the base, water as required and eventually you will be rewarded with new spikes/blooms.

Please see the link below - this method of watering is an invaluable indicator of when to water. The biggest killer of orchids is OVER watering.

Skewer use for watering of orchids

Yeah, it's really hard to say anythign without knowing what kind of orchid you have. For example some orchids will do great at a constant 20C while others might grow but won't bloom.
