Oak Hill Mini

I just received my mini Mark Holm phal from Oak Hill. Its just the cutest little thing ever. LOL. Its healthy and has two blooms open. I am amazed that the blooms didn't break off in transit but it was packed well. Its now sitting in my office waiting to warm up a little. I would certainly buy from them again.

ooohhhh dear. I'm really fighting the urge to buy from Oak Hill right now. The weather is so unpredictable here in Colorado. But if it made it all the way to Cali then maybe I'll have to break down.

Vivienne I think it would be very reasonable to "break down" under the circumstances, I reckong the pictures will clinch it

I keep looking on their website at this Phal....ever since Sharyn posted pics last year; this and the Neofentia that's been talked about here once again. My budget is tapped....but I keep looking at my Visa card and my rationale is that the billing cycle ended on the 5th and it's now the 7th so the charge won't show up for another month.....

I'll wait till you post pics, then decide.

They ought to have a thread called Orchidholics Anononymus!!!!!!! Its a place where you could depend on other Orchidholics to talk you into buying everything you want. LOL. The SF orchid show is the first of March. My budget will be stretched thin after that, but I think I can depend on my wife for financial relief. Sometimes she just says Happy Birthday as my b/d is in mid March.

The flowers on the Mark Holm I receivied are exactly like the picture on Oak Hills site but they are the size of a quarter. Ok, everyone, Gooooooo Buyyyyyyy

LOL - somewhere on Orchid Geeks there is a thread called just that. We all admitted our addiction. It didn't help any!

I'm thinking that Valentine's Day is around the corner... I need to buy myself something. And then there's always by birthday in Mid March as well. And the Denver Orchid Show and Mother's Day and .... well you get the picture. Yep, I think I may have to order myself a Valentine's Day present. hehehe

I don't know what it is about orchids except for everything. And I used to think they were only magnificent while in bloom......sheeeeesh.

The only place that I know of is Carter and Holmes and they have it listed as "Fancy Musick". Sometimes Big Leaf Orchids carry it and so does Merkles, but right now they are out. I'm still checking for other vendors.
