Thats what I want!!! An orchid that will produce like that! Can't wait to see this one bloom. Let's see...Cluster Fire...must be a vibrant orange or red with yellow?

I bought it in bloom from our local Orchid Society one year ago..........it was orange.................I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not sure I will sleep until it opens up!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like a spike full of nice fat buds to brighten the day! Take heart, at this stage I think you'll only have to wait another week or two, not months before your buds open.

Really exciting Janice! I am just getting into Laelias, Lc's, Blc's....because I can grow them outside with my cymbidiums. I love the cluster on yours!....must....get....one...

Oh, Janice, those buds are beautiful in themselves. No wonder you're excited--have you ever seen a blooming clivia--are the flowers like that?

Patlee, I don't know about the Clivia............never seen one. I realized that although I have accumulated numerous orchids the past two years that my success at "reblooming" is low. So this is such an accomplishment for me. My Ascnd. has bloomed several times and I now have spikes on two Phals. so maybe my luck is changing or I am getting smarter!!!! The problem is that is I don't have anything in bloom I just go and buy a new one!!!!

Oh I can't wait to see it. I'm starting to get impatient......Are you like me and get up every day to see it there is any change. Any at all? That's what I do. Like to pull my hair out sometimes, LOL.

I have a bud opening..................the color right now appears much darker/redder than when I bought it, My pictures show it "orange" ...........................I really won't be able to sleep...............I will send pictures.
